Your family history is unique and personal. The Family History SIG can help you to build your family tree from scratch or to add more branches to your existing tree by showing you how to find information in censuses, parish records, newspapers and archives etc. using various family history websites and some less well-known online resources. We'll also look at using DNA to further your research - you never know what might be revealed!
The Family History SIG is run by Louise Tooms
Members of the group are invited and encouraged to share their research and family trees with the group, though of course, this is not compulsory.
Family history is an addictive and very pleasurable hobby - and as a side effect, it can improve your computing skills too!
