If you have come to this page, then you are thinking about joining us at Brecon u3a. An obvious question will be "How much will it cost?"
The answer is £35 per year (renewal in August) plus £2 for every Thursday that you come to Theatr Brycheiniog.
You don't have to join straight away. You are very welcome to come to two of our Thursday sessions to see what goes on and meet existing members. When you enter the theatr through the main door, you will meet members collecting the £2 entrance money and they will ask you if you want a coffee token. With your token, you can then go up to the first floor where the coffee is served and members chat. You will also find representatives from the Travel Desk and the New Members Information Desk. People will be very happy to talk to you. Just before 10.30, you should follow members downstairs and into the Studio to get ready for the morning presentation. During the lunch break, you can join members in the theatr cafe for refreshments, or go into Brecon. The afternoon Special Interest Group sessions start at 1.15 p.m.

We meet in the Studio in Theatr Brycheiniog. Like all public buildings, it has a maximum capacity based on a risk assessment of the ability to evacuate the room in an emergency. The attendances at some recent morning presentations have come close to this maximum. We have therefore decided to set a limit on our overall membership. If the limit is reached, any further applications will be placed on a waiting list and applicants will be invited to join when space becomes available.
The attendance limit also means that visitors paying the day's entry fee can only visit twice in a year as a non-member.

If our membership is below our limit, you will be sent an application form and invited to pay the membership fee. If our membership has reached our limit, we will tell you that we have added your name to our waiting list and will contact you when a place is available.
